Matt spent 18 years with the fire department in western New York. During this time period he also owned
and operated a company which provided home repairs, landscaping services, and home renovations. His
experience includes everything from framing new additions to finish carpentry and everything in between. He
has also meticulously renovated three of his own properties from top to bottom.
He moved to Chesapeake, Virginia, with his family, to pursue a career in law enforcement in 2013. He
returned to the private sector in 2015 and has since had a strong desire to pursue his passion of home
repairs and renovations. Since 2013 he has worked part-time providing handyman services to local
Hampton Roads clients. In 2017 Great Enterprises, Inc. was founded to provide reasonable priced services
